Shona Black holds a degree in Art and Archaeology from Princeton University, and has recently returned to the field of Visual Arts after several years writing about soccer, primarily as Contributing Editor for UK-based Pink Football. She has also covered various topics in the gay and lesbian press.

A longtime New Yorker now based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Shona travels extensively worldwide. She is currently writing a book on the art of football.
